Temperature sensor targets IoT, consumer, industrial applications

Sensirion’s STSC1 temperature sensor combines high measurement accuracy with an attractive price-performance ratio, low power consumption and minimal size.

The STSC1 focuses on applications that require very precise temperature measurement. It is suitable for consumer electronics, Internet of Things and smart home applications, as well as for data loggers and thermostats. With compact dimensions of 2 x 2 x 0.8 mm, low power consumption and supply voltage of 1.8 V, it provides a fully calibrated and linearised digital signal to a microcontroller.

The device measures temperatures from -40 to 125°C with a typical accuracy of ±0.3°C. The fully calibrated sensor features an I 2C interface and is reflow-solderable. It is suitable for standardised industrial series production of electronic devices and can be successfully integrated into complex applications.
