Schottky detector diodes remove need for external biasing

SemiGen has added a series of zero-bias schottky detector diodes to its expanding product offerings.

The SZB900 series of zero-bias schottky detector diodes are ideal for use as components of video detectors and power monitors, eliminating the need for external DC biasing. This series of schottky diodes features low junction capacitances, high voltage sensitivity, uniform video resistances, and high sensitivity, all without external bias circuitry.

With forward voltage drops of 0.3 V and superior TSS, these diodes are ideally suited for use in waveguide, coaxial, and stripline applications through K-band. With an operating temperature from -55 to +150°C and power dissipation of 100 mW, these diodes come in chip, glass, ceramic, and beam lead packages.
