The move gives Broadcom OEM customers access to WiFi and Bluetooth software tools as well as to technical support resources from Broadcom and Rohde & Schwarz. These validated test systems help OEMs to reduce time-to-market and to improve manufacturing quality, said Rohde & Schwarz. The Munich-based measurement equipment manufacturer contributes its CMW500 wideband radio communication tester. With this multistandard platform, OEMs can test consumer electronics devices based on a range of widespread standard wireless technologies such as LTE, WCDMA, GSM, CDMA2000 and TD-SCDMA as well as WiFi and Bluetooth. Through the agreement, these OEMs are entitled to adapt the test solution to their own needs. In addition, they gain access to the global R&S service and support network.
