4G LTE private network deploys in 90 seconds

A network in a suitcase from AIR-LYNX was demonstrated at Mobile World Congress 2017. Deployable in 90 seconds, this private 4G LTE network is also one of the most compact in the world.

Due to its simplicity it even allows inexperienced customers to rapidly deploy a fully private and secure 4G LTE network.

Everything needed to deploy this autonomous 4G LTE network (core network, radio head, software) comes in a compact 30 kg suitcase.

Taking 90 seconds for the network to be operational, its speed and simplicity of deployment change the face of professional market and fill the gaps in many scenarios of use: public safety, critical communications, last mile in the rural areas.

Other key attributes include:

  • Interoperability with other networks whether professional or not (TETRA networks, public networks, and even networks dedicated to the IOT like Lora);
  • Secure and reliable – based on the 3GPP LTE standard, the network is inherently secure. AES 128 encryption also allows encryption of communications;
  • Open, since it is based on the LTE standard of 3GPP (release 12, the 13 being implemented);
  • Agile in frequency – the network can adapt to the needs of the customer and anywhere in the world, from the moment when it holds the authorizations of emission.

Key markets for such a network include Industry 4.0, smart cities, rural areas and public safety, defense, and communications reviews.
